McDonald Gym is a volleyball gymnasium located on the campus of Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas USA. The Gym has been home solely to the Lamar Lady Cardinal Volleyball Team since its renovation was completed in 2007. The gym was previously the home to both the Lamar Cardinals men's basketball team and Volleyball teams from 1958 when the doors opened until the construction of the 10,080 seat Montagne Center in 1984 gave the Basketball team a new home.[1]
The facility was named after the fourth president of Lamar Dr. F.L. McDonald. (1952-1967)
