McCain Bluff (70°19′S 160°5′E / 70.317°S 160.083°E) is a bold rock bluff at the north side of the mouth of Svendsen Glacier, in the Usarp Mountains. Mapped by United States Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys and U.S. Navy air photos, 1960-62. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for John C. McCain, United States Antarctic Research Program (USARP) biologist at McMurdo Station, 1967-68.
