May Edginton

May Edginton (1883 - June 17, 1957) was a British writer. She was married to Francis E. Bailey and died in Rondebosch, South Africa in 1957.^[1]

• World Without End novel, adapted to film as His Supreme Moment (1925) starring Blanche Sweet.
• Purple and Fine Linen, novel; adapted to film as Three Hours (1927) starring Corinne Griffith and as Adventure in Manhattan (1936) starring Jean Arthur.
• The Joy Girl, novel; adapted to film as The Joy Girl (1927) starring Olive Borden.

Plays

• Secrets, play adapted to film as Secrets (1924) starring Norma Talmadge and as Secrets (1933) starring Mary Pickford.
• The Prude's Fall play adapted as a film Dangerous Virtue (1924), directed by Graham Cutts, art direction by Alfred Hitchcock, and starring Jane Novak and Julanne Johnston.
