† Appearances (Goals).Max Seeburg (19 September 1884 – 1972) was a German footballer who played in England for Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur,[1] Burnley, Grimsby Town and Reading between 1907 and 1914.[2] Seeburg became the first European-born foreigner to play in England.[3]
Biography
Born in Leipzig, he moved in 1886 to London, at the age of two, and died in Reading in 1972.[4][5]
