Club career
Ehmer has been with Queens Park Rangers (QPR) since the age of eleven and has worked his way through the ranks, captaining his age group at various stages. As a boy his family moved to England. He played in youth teams for Ascot United, ACS Egham school and Warfield Predator youth sides, before QPR took him into their academy set-up. He was a pupil at ACS Egham, near Englefield Green signing his first QPR contract in the summer of 2009. He has been coached by former Yeovil Town midfielder Marc Bircham, QPR's youth team manager.[2]
Ehmer signed for Yeovil Town on a month long loan 1 January 2011.[3] He made his debut against Plymouth Argyle on 1 January 2011, playing the full 90 minutes in a 0–0 draw.[4] That loan deal was then later made an 'end of season' due to a number of good performances from Ehmer. His loan ended shortly after the final game of the season, a 2–0 win away to Carlisle, in which Ehmer was used as a half-time sub.
On 21 July, 2011, Yeovil agreed a deal which would see Ehmer return to Huish Park on a six-month youth loan deal.[5]
