Maurizio Sarsini (1940) is an Italian architect and artist.
Biography
Graduated from Sapienza University of Rome with a degree in Architecture. His education was marked by teachers like Giuseppe Capogrossi, Renato Gattuso and Marcello Avenali.
In the early Sixties he was summoned by Prince Aga Khan IV to join the Committee of Architecture of Costa Smeralda. In these years he worked together the French architect Jacques Couëlle.
In the Sixties he also started exhibiting his paintings. His works often suggest subjects that range from figurative to abstract with themes that often suggest imaginary myths and metaphysical spaces.
His paintings have been exhibited in Italy, Switzerland, Côte dʼIvoire, Iran, New Zealand and Australia.
