Mattuthavani Integrated Busstand
Mattuthavani Integrated Bus Terminus (MIBT), is an ISO 9001:2000 certified integrated mofussil bus stand in the city of Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India. The bus station was built at the cost of 10 crores.[1] After the successful launch of this new bus stand more mofussil buses are being operated to connect the southern districts like Tirunelveli, Tuticorin, Virudhunagar, Nagercoil, Ramanathapuram and Sivaganga and Northern districts of TamilNadu like Chennai, Tiruchy, Villupuram, Perambalur, Ariyalur.

Mattuthavani Central vegetable market
Before being shifted to mattutavani, the madurai district central vegetable market was operating at North chittirai street which caused heavy traffic congestion because of the in and out flows of goods vehicles and trucks. Vegetables brought from Oddanchatram market and being traded from here to all south and middle parts of Tamil Nadu.
Mattuthavani Flower market
This is in between the Central market and the Bus satnd. All kind of Flowers are traded from here especially Jasmine, the flower famous for madurai city is being traded from here.
Development near 80 ft Road
This bus stand has initiated a real estate boom in 80 ft road. New constructions of Apartments like one for IOB staff quarters are in progress.
