Matteo Barzini is an Italian filmmaker and producer born in Rome in 1981 and raised in Los Angeles.
His first feature length documentary film: United We Stand - A Journey Across America During The Days Of The War In Iraq' was selected for the 60th Venice International Film Festival, making him one of the youngest filmmakers to attend the festival. The film, also awarded with an Honorable Mention at the 2004 New York International Independent Film and Video Festival, gaining great attention and was presented to over 10 minor film festivals getting distributed by Documè in more than 20 theatres.
Three years later he received the Best Editing Award for the film Hip Hop Diaries, produced by Canal Jimmy and presented at the 2006 edition of the "Festival Di Palazzo Venezia" and the thirteenth edition of the Brooklyn International Film Festival.
In 2008 he produced and directed the feature length documentary film: Change - Obama McCain, the 40 Days That Changed America distributed by Cinecittà Luce and in competition at various international film festivals such as "Rome Independent Film Festival".
He has directed many television shows, news segments, documentaries, commercials and music videos for Italy´s main television networks such as Fox, RAI, Mediaset, Jimmy, Mtv, La7 and Sky.
