Mathis Spur (83°20′S 51°17′W / 83.333°S 51.283°W) is a rock spur along the west side of Saratoga Table, 3 nautical miles (6 km) north of Mount Stephens, in the Forrestal Range, Pensacola Mountains. Mapped by United States Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys and U.S. Navy air photos, 1956-66. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Melvin Mathis, hospital corpsman at Ellsworth Station, winter 1957.
