Before "Survivor", Stillman was an attorney in San Francisco, California. She lives in Mountain View, California and practices intellectual property law at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius's Palo Alto office, which specializes in representing technology companies.

On "", she was a member of the Tagi tribe and was voted off third, after spending nine days on the island.

In early 2001, she sued CBS claiming Mark Burnett arranged her exit and orchestrated the show's outcome. Stillman wanted restitution for lost prize money, plus $75,000 representing out-of-pocket expenses and punitive damages. CBS and Burnett said in a statement that her claims were groundless. Sean Kenniff told USA Today that the vote wasn't influenced and Burnett said to "Vote your conscience," but it didn't feel to him that was coercion. Been supported her allegations.
