Matagbak

Matagbak is one of the barrios in the municipality of Alfonso, Cavite, the Philippines. It is located between Marahan and Sinaliw na Malaki.

Originally, the locals referred their whereabouts in the barrio as Silangan, Kanluran, and Putol. Today, they will point you to Matagbak I (Kanluran and Silangan), Matagbak II (Putol).

Until now, it is an agricultural area. The people here usually refer their farmstead as "kubo". The farms are located in farming areas like Ibaba, Ilaya, Kulipay and Katutay. The farmers grow coffee, pineapple, banana, etc. Very few are planting seasonal rice. It is still a very green area.
