Matador is the second full-length album by ambient/trip-hop duo Arms and Sleepers. The album was released on CD and vinyl in November 2009.

The band is preparing to release two new EPs stemming from this album. Matador Alternate Versions/B-Sides was released in December 2009, and was for sale during the band's European tour. The CD will be available online at the end of the tour. It features different cuts of songs and b-sides that didn't make it onto the final LP. Matador Remixes is scheduled to be released in April 2010 on vinyl, and will consist of remixes done by friends of Arms and Sleepers.

Trivia

Matador features contributions from numerous musicians, including Tom Brosseau (Fat Cat Records), Shelley Short (Hush Records), Ben Shepard and Catherine Worsham (of Uzi and Ari), Philip Jamieson (of Caspian), Mona Elliott (of Travels), Adam Arrigo (of The Main Drag), and Matt Lajoie (of Cursillistas).[5]

The vinyl edition of the album was a limited printing of 500, with the first 100 units pressed on gold vinyl. People who pre-ordered the vinyl were entered into a random raffle to win 1 of 5 test presses, which were signed by A&S and included a one-time-only hand-made packaging design.[5]
