Masterpiece Online connects art galleries and artists directly with art, antique, craft and jewelry consumers worldwide free of charge.[1] Masterpiece Online was part of a featured discussion at the Oil Painters of America seminar [2] and is featured in a WikiHow article on putting artists work online. History
Masterpiece Online, Inc. was founded in Colorado in 2000 by James Archer and sold to EngagedWorks, LLC in 2008 [5], and was online by January 2000 Making it among the first wave of online Art and Antique Marketplaces. Starting in 2000 it operated under the domain archerexchange.com until it was purchased by EngagedWorks, LLC Parker, CO-based Masterpiece Solutions in 2008.[4]
In 2008 the company moved headquarters from Golden, CO to Parker, CO.
