Synopsis
Kang Seok-ho (Kim Soo-Ro) is a poor lawyer and ex-motorcycle gang member . He then takes a position to revive a third rate high school named "Byeong-Mun High School". To revive the school, Seok-ho Kang needs his students to become accepted into prestigious universities. Because of this, Seok-ho Kang starts a special class and becomes the teacher for that class. Seok-ho Kang takes students, who have bad scores, and guides them to improve not only their scores but their outlook on life.

- Kim Soo Ro as Kang Suk Ho
He is a lawyer, but as he remembered his time of high school, he decided to help Byung Mun High School.
- Bae Doo Na as Han Soo Jung
She is an English teacher, but she got tricked by Kang Suk Ho and became an assistant of the special class (Tuk Beul Class).
- Oh Yoon Ah as Jang Ma Ri
She continued her ill father's job which was the principal of Byung Mun High School. She has a crush on Kang Suk Ho.
- Yoo Seung Ho as Hwang Baek Hyun
He was a bad student (Koltong), but after he studied in the special class by the help of Kang Suk Ho, he slowly reached to his goal. His parents died and he lives with his grandmother in a poor house.
- Park Ji Yeon as Na Hyun Jung
She crushed on Hwang Baek Hyun. When she found out that he loves Gil Pul Ip, she went to a bad way for a short time. However, she came back to special class.
- Go Ah Sung as Gil Pul Ip
She doesn't have father and had problems with her mom who loves a married man. She studies very hard, and as a result, she entered the greatest university, Cheon Ha University.
- Lee Hyun-Woo as Hong Chan Doo
He likes to dance, but his father wants him to study abroad. Later, his father finally agreed and Hong Chan Doo chose his way to dance instead of the university.
- Lee Chan Ho as Oh Bong Goo
He was grown from the meat restaurant. His parents don't really care about his education. The actual reason that he joined the special class was to get rid of the bullying because of his appearance. Later, he enters Cheon Ha University.

- Master of Study" is based on the popular Japanese manga "Dragon Zakura" written by Mita Norifusa, which was also turned into a 2005 TBS drama series in Japan.
