Career
Master Manjunath, who started at three, has been part of 68 movies in Kannada and Hindi.[1] But it was his role in Swami and Friends (also made into a full-length movie) that fetched him the maximum recognition — six international, one national and a state award. He series was shot during his school vacation in 1985-86, and telecasted in 1987. He also played the role of young Vijay Deenanath Chauhan in Agneepath (1990), which was played by Amitabh Bachchan.
He left film by the age 19 to concentrate on his studies.[3] He subsequently did MA in sociology, Diploma in cinematography and CA Foundation course.[1]
Personal life
Manjunath is married to athlete Swarnarekha, a sprinter and long jump champion.[3] After working in various jobs he is presently working as a Vice President - PR and Liaison for the Bangalore-Mysore Infrastructure Corridor Project (BMICP). [1]
