Masood Farivar (1969) is an Afghanistan-born writer and journalist.
Farivar grew up in northern Afghanistan before emigrating with his family to Pakistan in the early 1980s. He received a Bachelor's degree from Harvard University in 1994. He is currently a Kabul-based journalist for Internews Network .[1] His memoirs, Confessions of a Mullah Warrior, was published by Atlantic Monthly Press in 2009.[2]
