It is designed to be easily usable and feature-rich, but not so many features that becomes unusable. MaslowWM has many of the same concepts as most Window Managers, but implements them differently.
Features
MaslowWM has various features. The features listed here are the main ones MaslowWM implements.
QMenus - A program menuing system used to access applications, documents and administration areas. Each menu can have a maximum of 3 sub-menus. The primary menu is located at the bottom of the screen, similar to the Mac OS X dock.
SWarning (SW) - Provides a warning system used when the user starts shut down. Will warn users of unsaved files, downloading files and other processes.
SRSS (Shut Down and Restarting System) - Saves system state on shut down, Any programs and documents that where open before shut down, are restored on start-up to their status before shut down. (Example: Web Browser is open with Wikipedia, user shuts down but does not close web browser, when started back up the web browser is in the same state it was at the shut down)
MaslowOS
The MaslowWM is intended to be part of MaslowOS, an operating system based on BSD or another Unix-like system. Currently plans for the operating system have been placed far in the future and very little planning has been done from what is known.
