Masada Quintet

Masada Quintet

The Masada Quintet is the newest of John Zorn's Masada groups. No official information about this group exists. They have released one album, Stolas: Book of Angels Volume 12. The personnel listing on that album states that the quintet consists of Joey Baron on drums, Uri Caine on piano, Greg Cohen on bass, Dave Douglas on trumpet, and Joe Lovano on tenor sax. John Zorn also plays alto sax on one selection.
