History
Marygiri Senior Secondary School was established in 1989 by the congregation of St.Therese (C.S.T.Brothers), a religious society dedicated to social welfare activities, founded in 1931 at Angamaly, his grace Mar.Augistine Kandathil, the first Arch Bishop of Ernakulam. For facilitating the administration of academic institutions the Congregation framed a Trust by name CST Education Trust, alias Congregation of St.Theresa-CST Brothers Education Trust, Sreekandapuram and the school is presently administered by the Trust.
Courses
CBSE
The school has been affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi in 1998. It was upgraded a Senior Secondary School in 2004. The school follows the syllabus prescribed by the CBSE, to which it is affiliated.
Sports
Basketball
Basketball is the most popular and the official game of the school. The school has two well maintained basketball courts. Many inter-school competitions have been conducted at the school.[1] The school is a dominant figure in the North Kerala basketball. There is regular coaching in Basketball.
Football
Football enjoys popularity among students.
