Mary Kavanagh

Mary Kavanagh is an Irish librarian and writer.

Kavanagh works in Galway County Library. She has been responsible for compiling A bibliography of county Galway, an exhaustive list of any and all books by natives of Galway, and/or concerning Galway city and county. It has been updated twice since its first publication in the 1990s, and has become an indispensable source for virtually all subjects concerning the area.

In 1999 she also indexed all the journals of the Galway Archaeological and Historical Society.
