Mary Cecil Allen (2 September 1893 Melbourne - 7 April 1962 Provincetown) was an artist, writer and lecturer.[1]

Life
She was the daughter of Professor Harry Brookes Allen and Ada, née Mason.[2] She studied at the National Gallery of Victoria Art School. In 1926, she was a guide to Florence Gillies, to Europe. She was invited to lecture in New York City.
She worked in the Provincetown, Massachusetts Art Colony from 1950. She is buried at the Provincetown Cemetery.[3]
Her work is in the National Gallery of Victoria.[4] Her papers are held at the Archives of American Art.[5]
