Humes is currently a member of the boyband JLS. JLS were the runners up to Alexandra Burke in the fifth series of The X Factor in 2008. Humes was previously a member of another band called VS which was created by Blue member Simon Webbe. He is currently in a relationship with Rochelle Wiseman, who is a member of the pop group The Saturdays.

Music career
After meeting future fellow band member Aston Merrygold, Humes joined boyband UFO. However, after auditioning for The X Factor, UFO changed their name to JLS. JLS then went on to the final of The X Factor, where they came runner-up to Alexandra Burke. Previously, he was in a band called VS, however shortly after being formed and releasing an album they split.
Acting
Humes appeared in Holby City on the BBC for three years from 2000 to 2003 playing Robbie Waring for 14 episodes.[1] At the age of 14 he starred in a children's programme called K-Club, which helped people with computers and how they work.
Personal life
Humes started dating The Saturdays singer Rochelle Wiseman in March 2010 and they moved in together in August 2010.[2] In November 2010 it was announced that they had briefly split up[3] but got back together in January 2011. Marvin has two brothers, one called Jackson and the other called Leon.
