Martin 'Pee Wee' Pearson (born 24 October 1971 (1971-10-24) (age 40)) is a former professional rugby league and rugby union footballer of the 1990s and 2000s who at representative level has played rugby league (RL) for Wales, and at club level for Featherstone Rovers, Halifax (twice), Sheffield Eagles, and Wakefield Trinity Wildcats, playing at Fullback, Centre, Stand-off/Five-eighth, or Scrum-half/Halfback, i.e. number 1, 3 or 4, 6, or 7, and at club level has played rugby union (RU) for Section Paloise (Pau RUFC).[1]

Martin Pearson won caps for Wales while at Sheffield Eagles, and Wakefield Trinity Wildcats 1996(1998?)…2001 3(4, 5?)-caps + 1-cap (sub) 2-tries 2-goals 12-points.[2]

Division Two Premiership Final Appearances

Martin Pearson played Fullback, i.e. number 1, and scored four goals in Featherstone Rovers' 20-16 victory over Workington Town in the 1992–93 Division Two Premiership final at Old Trafford, Manchester on 19 May 1993.[3]

Career Records

Martin Pearson still holds Featherstone Rovers All Time Record 'The Most Points In A Season', with 391 in the 1992-93 season.
