Alticus simplicirrus Scientific classification Kingdom: Animalia Phylum: Chordata Class: Actinopterygii Order: Perciformes Family: Blenniidae Genus: Alticus Species: A. simplicirrus Alticus simplicirrus is a species of combtooth blenny found in the central Pacific ocean, around the Marquesas Islands.[1] It was first named by Smith-Vaniz and Springer in 1971,[1] and is commonly known as the Marquesan rockstripper.[2]
