Features

The Marlin Model 795 features an 18 inch barrel with 1:16 inch twist rate micro-groove rifling (16 grooves). It has adjustable open rear and ramp front sight, but as an alternative to iron sights, the receiver is grooved for a scope mount. It has an automatic "last-shot" bolt hold-open feature, a manual bolt hold-open and a cross-bolt safety. It uses a 10 round nickel plated box magazine.

Uses

The Marlin 795 is well suited for small game hunting. It can also be used for low cost but serious target practice for competition or hunting practice, or just plinking (informal target practice). It is ideal for young shooters since it is small and light-weight.
