Marko is a registered trademark for inherent flame retardant fabric (UNE EN 11612) used in protective clothing for foundries.
It was developed in 1997 and marketed by Marina Textil since 1998 conceived to protect. The composition is modacrylic cotton.

Properties
Marko-Fr ® is a Multi-Standard tissue properties which remain unchanged throughout the life of the fabric. It offers excellent comfort to the wearer and the broader possibilities in a fireproof fabric. The protective clothing that complies with EN 11612 is designed to protect industrial workers from a brief contact with flames and at least one type of heat. This may take the form of convective heat, radiant, contact, splashes of molten metal or a combination of some of them.
