Mark Thompson (blogger)

Mark James Thompson (born 1974) is a Liberal Democrat blogger based in Sandhurst in Berkshire. He edits the "Mark Thompson's Blog" which began in November 2008 and is also a regular contributor to the Dale & Co group blog edited by Iain Dale.

Thompson won the Best New Liberal Democrat Blog of the Year award in 2009 awarded by Liberal Democrat Voice.[1]

He has appeared on BBC Radio 4, The World Service and Sky News and frequently appears on BBC Radio 5 Live and LBC 97.3 as a political pundit. He was also a regular guest on John Pienaar's BBC Radio 5 Live podcast and co-hosted a regular political podcast called House of Comments between 2009 and 2010.
