Marina Romanko Full name Marina Romanko Country Russia Born August 5, 1986 Title International Master, WGM FIDE rating 2387 (May 2011) Peak rating 2466 (April 2009) Marina Romanko (Russian: Марина Романько; born August 5, 1986) is a Russian chess player. She holds the titles of International Master and Woman Grandmaster.
Romanko played in the gold medal-winning Russian Women's team in the 8th European Team Chess Championship in Novi Sad 2009.[1] She took part in the Women's World Chess Championship 2010, but was eliminated in the second round by Hou Yifan.[2]
