She was a member of the Canada women's national water polo team, that claimed the silver medal at the 2007 Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Playing as a 2m guard Radu was named the most valuable player at the 2006 senior national championship where her team (DDO) won gold. She was an alternate for the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece. Radu studied creative arts at John Abbott College in Montréal. Her mother, Sabina Radu, was on the Canadian national swimming team.
