Marianna Auenbrugger (July 19 1759 in Vienna - August 25 1782), was an Austrian pianist and composer.
The daughter of the physician Leopold Auenbrugger, she was a highly regarded pianist and composer in Vienna. Together with her sister Caterina Franziska, she was a student of Joseph Haydn and Antonio Salieri. Haydn dedicated to the two sisters in 1780 a cycle of six sonatas (Hob XVI :35-39 and 20). As Marianne in 1782 at the emaciation died Salieri, at his own expense, printed her composition Artaria Piano Sonata and added a print of self-written Trauerode for soprano and piano on one.
Auenbrugger also wrote a libretto to the German Singspiel, the chimney sweeper (1781).
