Maria Teresa Dizzia (born December 29, 1974) is an American stage and screen actress. She was nominated for the 2010 Tony Award for Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Play for her performance in In the Next Room (or The Vibrator Play). In its review of In the Next Room, The New York Times described Dizzia's performance as "standout".[1]Dizzia grew up in Cranford, New Jersey and studied theater at Cornell University. She received her M.F.A. from the University of California, San Diego [2]
