He was born in Pelgulinn, a subdistrict of Tallinn, Estonia.
Career
Film acting
Between 1970 and 1991, Lepa appeared in three films, all directed by Arvo Kruusement and based on a series of novels by Oskar Luts.
For the first film, Kevade (Spring) (1970), he appeared as Georg Adniel Kiir and then as Jorh Adniel Kiir in Suvi (Summer) (1976). These films were followed by his appearance as Kiir in Sügis (Autumn) (1991).[clarification needed]
