Medal record Women's Swimming British Empire Games Silver 1938 London 440 yd freestyle Margaret Kathleen Jeffrey (born 23 January 1920) is an English freestyle swimmer who competed for Great Britain in the 1936 Summer Olympics.
In 1936 she was a member of the British relay team which finished sixth in the 4×100 metre freestyle relay event. In the 400 metre freestyle competition she was eliminated in the semi-finals.
At the 1938 Empire Games she won the silver medal in the 440 yards freestyle contest.
