- East Asian Games
The East Asian Games is a
multi-sport event organised byEast Asian Games Association (EAGA) and held every four years since 1993 among athletes from East Asian countries.Teams
All EAGA's members able to take part in the Games, they are:

People's Republic of China [name designated to the team of thePeople's Republic of China – no athlete from the special administrative regions has represented People's Republic of China in any of the past editions of the East Asian Games]
*Guam
*Hong Kong, China [as Hong Kong in 1993 and 1997]
*Japan
*DPR Korea (North Korea)
*Republic of Korea (South Korea)
*Macau, China [as Macau in 1993 and 1997]
*Mongolia
*Chinese Taipei [name designated to theRepublic of China (Taiwan)]Kazakhstan is a former member of EAGA, however since it became anEuropean Olympic Committee member, they do not take part in these Games anymore. Kazakhstan is now a member of Olympic Council of Asia(OCA).It joins Central Asian Games.These countries and territories are mostly in the northern part of
East Asia , and there is a similar event called theSouth East Asian Games for South East Asian countries.List of East Asian Games
