Marco Di Tillo

Marco Di Tillo was born in Rome in 1951. He is married and has three sons. He graduated in Psychology and is a Radio and Tv author, film director, writer of novels, historical fiction, comic strips, Adventure books and fairy tales.

He frequented “Cineclub Roma” with Nanni Moretti and Andrea Garibaldi. On 1978 he started working in RadioRai. He wrote "Amore vuol dire" together with Nanni Loy and Annabella Cerliani, “Che giorno era quel giorno?” together with Massimo Guglielmi, “Il Guastafeste" with Massimo Giuliani, “Un'invenzione chiamata disco" with Marco Ferrante. On 1980 works together with Piero Galletti, Guido Giusti, Claudio Delle Fratte for the telefilm “Cercai l'amor” . On 1983 he start to work for Tv programs like “Forte Fortissimo” with Piero Chiambretti and Corinne Clery, “Il sabato dello Zecchino” with Topo Gigio, “Spazio Aperto”, “Bellezza e dintorni”, “Regali di Natale”, “Ciao Italia” with Sydne Rome and Maria Teresa Ruta, “Una giornata frizzante” with Nino Manfredi, “Pomeriggio sul Due” with Giulia Fossà, “Scrupoli” with Enza Sampò.

On 1988 he directed a thriller movie for childrens called “Operazione Pappagallo” ( Operation Parrot, 1989), wrote together with Piero Chiambretti and Claudio Delle Fratte and interpreted by Leo Gullotta, Nicola Pistoia, Siusy Blady, Tiberio Murgia, Didi Perego, Carlotta Leonori.

On 1994 he wrote the novel named “Il giovane cavaliere” and “Tre ragazzi ed il Sultano”, “Mamma Natale”, “Mamma Natale ed i Pirati”, “Rome for two”, “Walkin' Rome”.

On 2000 Marco Di Tillo wrote and directed a movie called “Un anno in campagna” (A year in the countryside, 2000) interpreted by Francesca Antonelli, Yari Gugliucci, Giulio Di Mauro, Enzo Cardogna, Ludovica Modugno. On 2002 he wrote "Rome for two", romantic walking in Rome, followed by da "Walkin' Rome" on 2005, 7 walking itilneray ,( Ed. Made in Italy).

He wrote also comics as :“I grandi del calcio (Football Stars), “I grandi del jazz”( Jazz Stars), “I grandi del cinema” (Movie Stars), “Yeti” (Comic strip), “Piero” (Comic Strip), “Hans & Chica” ( Comic serial).
