Marath

The Marath are a Jat clan or gotra found in the Punjab province of Pakistan. They are found mainly in the following districts, District Jhang, District Toba Tek Sing Gujrat, Chakwal and Sargodha . In Chakwal District, there main settlement is the village of Marath. Marath tribe provided the educated and brave officer to punjab police and talented civil officer to central service of pakistan( Maher Muhammad Iqbal Marath Chartered Accountant S/o Mehar Woryam Marath is the Prasident of All Pakistan Marath Officer Association and the Head Office of All Pakistan Marath Association is in Chak 429 JB Thesil Gojra District Toba Tek Singh Punjab Pakistan)[1]
