Tom Lee Music Canada was incorporated in 1969. Starting from a convert|5000|sqft|m2|-2|abbr=on premise, it featured only acoustic pianos and organs. In the early 90's, the company started to offer other musical instruments and print music sales. Today, Tom Lee Music Canada is a full line music instrument retailer with a well established music education division.
Its main showroom resides in a renovated 6 storey, convert|75000|sqft|m2|-2|abbr=on, nearly 100 years old historical building on Granville Street, one block south of Robson Street, in the heart of Downtown
Vancouver . Known as Vancouver's entertainment district, the area is home to the Vancouver Symphony, the House of Blues Commodore Ballroom, and the soon to be completed Performing Art Centre. Tom Lee Music Canada was awarded the City of Vancouver's Heritage Award in 1990 for the renovation and preservation of this elegant building. The company is also the recipient of the "Consumers' Award for Business Excellence" for the past 7 years. Today it operates 9 locations throughoutBritish Columbia ,Canada .Products and services
