Mangesh, Iraq

Mangesh (Syriac: ܡܢܓܫ) is a town in the Iraqi Kurdistan region of Dohuk. The town lies in Barwari region and is populated by Assyrians.

Several Assyrian leading figures were assasinated under unknown circumstances in the town.[1]
