Manfred MölggWorld Championships Silver 2007 Åre Slalom Bronze 2011 Garmisch Slalom Manfred Mölgg (born June 3, 1982 in Bruneck) is an Italian alpine ski racer from Bruneck (Brunico), in South Tyrol.
A specialist of slalom and giant slalom, Mölgg made his World Cup debut in January 2003 at Bormio. As of February 2009[update], he has two World Cup victories in slalom and twelve podium results (including two second places in giant slalom).
Mölgg won the World Cup season title in slalom in 2008, and finished fourth in the overall standings, the best result for an Italian since Kristian Ghedina finished fourth overall in 2000.
Mölgg won the silver medal in slalom at the 2007 and a bronze in the 2011 World Championships .
His younger sister, Manuela Mölgg, competes also on the World Cup circuit.
