Manabu Yukawa is a fictional character from Keigo Higashino Galileo series. He features in the books Tantei Garireo, Yochimu, Yogisha X no Kenshin, 聖女の救済 and 伽利略の苦恼 currently. He also appears in the Japanese television drama, Garireo as well as the movie, Yogisha X no Kenshin. Both are portrayed by Masaharu Fukuyama and are very popular in Japan. Yukawa is a genius but eccentric physicist. He is often approached by his old school mate, who is currently a detective, to solve the seemingly supernatural and impossible cases.

Yogisha X no Kenshin

Yukawa meets the Ishigami, the genius mathematician and an alumnus from the same school as Yukawa and Kusanagi, who seems to be involved in the murder case that Kusanagi is investigating. Yukawa ditches Kusanagi and investigates the case on his own this time, due to his high admiration and respect for his friend, Ishigami.
