Mamuka Toronjadze is a Georgian football player, a midfielder, who currently plays for NSÍ Runavík. He played for the Faroese club FC Suðuroy in 2010 and scored six goals for the team in the Faroe Islands Premier League, and one goal in the Faroe Islands Cup.[1] FC Suðuroy was relegated to 1. deild, and Toronjadze has made a deal with NSÍ Runavík, that he will play for them in 2011.[2] Toronjadze has earlier played for football clubs in Georgia

Toronjadze was one of the top scorers for FC Suðuroy in the 2010 season in the Faroe Islands Premier League.[3] Toronjadze scored five goals in four matches in a row in the period from 22 August 2010 to 19 September 2010. He scored one goal against NSÍ Runavík on 19 September 2010, two goals against HB Tórshavn on 12 September 2010, one goal against ÍF Fuglafjørður on 29 August 2010, one goal against B36 Tórshavn on 22 August 2010 and one goal against the same team B36 Tórshavn on 9 May 2010. After the match against NSÍ Runavík, which were top of the league at the time when FC Suðuroy played against NSÍ Runavík and Toronjadze scored the only goal for FC Suðuroy in the match, which finished 1-1. The Faroese newspaper Sosialurin wrote a full page about Mamuka Toronjadze. The headline was "Bjargingarmaðurin" which is the Faroese word for "The Savior".[4]
