Career
Mamik made his acting debut in the hit film, Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar (1992) as Aamir Khan's elder brother Ratan. Despite the film's popularity, Mamik did not get any role in films for five years, so he started working in TV serials on STAR Plus. After that film, Mamik ended his career in Bollywood and continued to work on television, producing many hit serials on STAR Plus, which include Saahil and Maal Hai To Taal Hai. In Ssshhhh...Koi Hai (2002), Mamik starred in his first lead role and his most popular role to date, Vikraal, a ghostbuster whose mission of life is to get rid of all the evil spirits.
