Nuuk, GreenlandPolitical party Inuit Ataqatigiit Residence Nuuk, Greenland Website Official website Maliina Abelsen is a Greenlandic politician and MP for the party Inuit Ataqatigiit (IA), holding the position of the Minister for Social Affairs in the Government of Greenland (Kalaallisut: Naalakkersuisut), in office since June 2009.[1] Abelsen was born in 1976 in Nuuk,[1] the capital of Greenland, and currently resides there with two children and a husband.[1]
Duties
Abelsen is in charge of cooperation between the government and KANUKOKA, an association of Greenland's municipalities.[2]
