Early years
Malemnganba Meitei is from Yairipok in Thoubal district of Manipur. He has one brother and two sisters. [1] He played in NEROCA for two seasons (2007 and 2008), in the Manipur State League (MSL), then moved to MSL Champions NISA in 2009, playing in MSL and the I-League 2nd Division.
Club career
HAL
In 2010 Meetei signed for I-League club Hindustan Aeronautics Limited S.C. and in his first season played in only five games but scored two goals for HAL.
