- The opening league game of the season between Kedah FA and Selangor FA also doubled up as the Malaysia Charity Shield. Selangor FA won 4-1.
- The game between Kelantan FA and KL PLUS FC was awarded 3-0 to KL PLUS FC as Kelantan could not agree on a suitable venue.[1] However the result was then revoked and the game would be replayed at a later date.[2]
- Kuala Muda Naza FC and UPB-MyTeam FC withdrew before the start of 2010 season.
