Edward Johnstone Born June 11, 1791 Died June 11, 1791 (aged -59)Rank Major Relations Anne Rae (spouse) Major Edward Johnstone (11 June 1791 – 29 January 1850) served as an officer with the British Army in Spain, Australia and New Zealand.

Life
He served in the Peninsular War (1808–1814) under Lord Wellington. He married Anne Rae on 20 November 1826 and had issue. He was posted to Australia with the 50th Regiment on the James Laing 30 June 1834 as a Captain. He afterwards served in the New Zealand Campaign. After leaving the army he settled in Australia and served as a magistrate.
