Three bottles of wine from Louis Jadot. The right-hand bottle, the Clos de Ursules, carries the text "Domaine des Héritiers Louis Jadot" at the bottom of the label, which means that it is a wine from own domaine vineyards rather than from the négociant business.
Maison Louis Jadot is a wine company that produces and markets Burgundy wine. Louis Jadot operates both their own vineyards and has a négociant business. They control 154 hectares (380 acres) of vineyards in Burgundy (including Beaujolais),[1] and produce only AOC wines.
Maison Louis Jadot was founded by Louis Henry Denis Jadot in 1859, but the Jadot family had bought a well-known Beaune vineyard, Clos de Ursules, already in 1826.[2]
