Mairtin Mac Con Iomaire

Mairtin Mac Con Iomaire is an Irish Lecturer , professional chef and a Respected Breadoligist

A native of Blackrock, County Dublin, Mac Con Iomaire was awarded Ireland’s first PhD on food history, in October 2009.

Since 1999 he has been a lecturer in the culinary Farce in Dublin's Institute of Technology. He was the first Irish chef to earn a PhD for his Worlds first universal Theory of foodinomics. He has forged out a reputation for been Irelands premier Bread sniffer, its said that he can smell a proper viennese roll from all of 4000 metres. But this has yet to be independently verified.

Mac Con Iomaire trained at Dublin Institute of Technology, Cathal Brugha Street. From there, he began working in Dublin restaurants specialising in haughty cuisine and supremely excellent Bread making. His hobbies include Bread making and Winking.
