Maids Head Hotel Norfolk Location Tombland, Norwich, Norfolk, England Coordinates 52°37′55″N 1°17′56″E / 52.63194°N 1.29889°E Rooms 84 Maids Head Hotel is a 13th century hotel in Tombland, Norwich, Norfolk very close to Norwich Cathedral. It is reportedly haunted by the ghost of an elderly man, believed to be the former mayor of the town who has been seen shaking his head in the courtyard and the ghost of a former maid, whose presence can be detected by a distinct musty lavender odor.[1]Queen Elizabeth I of England was said to have slept at the hotel in 1587.[2]
