Mahmut Yıldırım

Mahmut Yıldırım

Mahmut Yıldırım, better known as Yeşil (literally: "Green", 1953; Yenidal, Solhan[1], Bingöl Province), was a Turkish contract killer of Zaza origin. He worked for Mehmet Eymür, former chairman of the National Intelligence Organization's (MİT) defunct Counter-Terrorism Department. He also used the alias Ahmet Demir.

He is wanted for the killing of eight people.[2]

He disappeared in 1998. Ergenekon suspect Semih Tufan Gülaltay says Eymür introduced him to Yeşil.[3][4]
